Description
White van marked Williams Temple Church of God in Christ has set up a table and cooler handing out styrofoam packaged meals to vagrant encampment. Second group today to feed in the same location. Tomorrow the CofH will have to clean up the trash left in the area. It is a violation of a City Ordinance to feed the vagrants on sidewalks and to set up food displays.

I find the city of Houston over time just ignores these issues. Those "vagrants" probably all have voter registration cards and vote for the people who "care" about them. The letter D comes to mind.
Next to my house I just had a drainage 311 complaint just rejected. The case was closed because "Asphalt street curb and gutter issues: property owners' responsibility for maintenance. " "These are the abutting property owner's responsibility to maintain. No work needed"
That's right the curb and the gutter are my responsibility? The curb drains up and backs up, thus I have to replace the curb?
I will be talking to people on city council tomorrow about this issue. But I have a feeling I am screwed. Gotta take out my check book and pay a concrete guy to get this done.
Get video of the people being fed, post on Youtube and maybe you will get people involved, other wise you are probably wasting your time.
